There are hundreds of advocates of Roulette Systems, who claim that they can beat the odds using one or other system. At the end of the day it is up to luck whether or not you will make a big win, but these systems are interesting to read about anyway. Here are a few of the more well known roulette systems:

Positive progression system

This system works in the same way as the Martingale system, except that you increase your bet when you win rather than when you lose, so you leave your winnings plus your original bet on the same bet.

The Labouchere method involves writing down numbers and betting the first and last of your written numbers. If you win, you cross them off and bet the next two outside numbers. However, if your bet loses you add it on to the end of the series.

The idea behind the Martingale roulette system is that you will always win, because your losses are being covered. It basically involves doubling your bet after each loss e.g. if you bet $1 on black and red comes up, you then bet $2 on black and so on until black wins, then you go back to a $1 bet on black. There are many variations on the Martingale, and most of the other Roulette Systems are in fact based on the Martingale System, but what you must remember is that Roulette is a game of chance and no magical system can change that.

This method simply entails leaving your bet as is either the full amount or a portion of the original bet. There are more Roulette Systems out there than there is space to write about here, especially since none of them actually work. Your best bet is to follow our Roulette Tips and have fun with the game realising that it is all about luck, not skill.
